What’s the trend in slow pitch softball?

In the last 3 years we’ve seen more and more teams/players make the transition from cotton t-shirts to technical wear such Elite Dry Fits and Elite Full Sub Jerseys. With this trend, you’ll find that there are various designs being used for jerseys.These designs are not limited to team names, mascots or softball/bats. In fact we’ve seen an increase of jerseys incorporating mural like images to show off a city scape.

Big Changes in Elite El Monte

Elite El Monte is growing like a weed. In fact we’re growing so fast that I’m beginning to think that our huge location is getting too small for us. With that in mind, we started tearing down some walls to expand the GraphiX Team. We’ve brought in another Artist, bought 2 more printers, now we have a total of 4 large sublimation printers. Plus we’ve upgraded our GraphiX Team with higher powered MACs and PC’s to help them expedite orders at a faster rate. Basically we’re doing our part to GIT-R-DONE!

They say Elite El Monte is haunted by a ghost. Check out this picture that I took of the new GraphiX Dept. office. You can actually see the ghost if you look closely…he’s on the right wall.

We tore out the flooring too.

By the way, you know how I mentioned that we hired another GraphiX Artist? I’d like to introduce Eddie Aguilera, no relation to Christina. Eddie is working on a new project that we are hoping to introduce soon…

Why Wool is Wonderful

If you didn’t know, Wool has to be one of the best fabrics ever created by God. Yup its true! No synthetic fabrics can compare to what wool can do for you. One of the great things about wool is that it keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Here’s another tid bit about wool….it doesn’t stink. What I mean is, if you wear wool socks, shirts or hats and you sweat all over it, the stink won’t stick to wool. Unlike synthetic fabrics like nylon, spandex, and rayon, wool is pretty much odor resistant.

So why are we talking about Wool? Simple, you see these hats below. Those are our Elite Fitted Hats, and guess what, they are made of 100% wool. So that means you can wear these all weekend long during a tournament and they won’t stink from your sweat. Trust me on this! I’ve got a similar Elite hat that is made out of wool and as much as I wear the darn thing, it doesn’t smell. Don’t get me wrong, they will get dirty. In fact my white wool hat is now a dingy yellow. But that can be easily hand washed and made like new again.
